Look what I found at Hello Lovely!

Hi Friends!!  I was catching up on a favorite blog of mine, Hello Lovely, one Saturday morning and saw so many images on homes we have done where designer and Milieu magazine editor Pamela Pierce helped with the interiors. Some must have been from homes for sale websites and others from magazines, many were from over 10 years ago, things I hadn't seen in years!  I love the pictures and wanted to share a few with you along with a bit of insight to Michele, the talented and sweet author of the ...

Who Wouldn’t Want To Live Here?

It is so fun to see homes for sale which we have worked in! Love seeing both how they look years later and also any changes in furnishings that have been made.  This one, interiors by Munger Interiors, was featured in my second book Segreto Style and several blogs I had written because I love the before and afters. It remains as beautiful today as when we left the home!!! I found these pictures on Har.com. The home is listed by Kelley Austin with Martha Turner Sothebys International Realty. ...

Pretty in Pink!

I love pink all year long but Valentine's Day really has me thinking!!! A blend of red and white, pink combines a need for the action of red, (Passion!) and the softness of white (Purity!). The deeper the pink, the more passion and energy it exhibits. The word itself brings up a variety of different images and concepts such as romance, flowers, femininity, Barbie, breast cancer, childhood, love, and so many more. source I guess I am not the only one dreaming of pink!!  This is the most ...

My Valentine’s Table Setting!!!

My favorite part of any holiday dinner event is thinking of ways to set the table. And Valentine's Day is no different!! Last year, I was especially excited for my Valentine's Day dinner because my sweet mother had given me a set of blush pink stemware for Christmas. These glasses were given to her by her mother years before, so I love that there's a history to them! My aunt Gayle also gave me the most beautiful blush pink tablecloth that had been hers. I guess they all knew my favorite color is ...

Source I found this historical home for sale which is a great example of all the beautiful stone work on all of the older homes, both the inside and out! Can't you just imagine a whole village with structures like this back in 1846 ...

Colorado Update Part 3-Bedrooms and Baths!

Well here is the last in the series!  Thank you for all your wonderful comments!! The house isn't completely done yet but close! I really wanted to plaster the house but due to my crews heavy schedules and the contractor's timeline it just didn't work out!   This was my inspiration board for the bedrooms!  What did I use? I loved the fabric behind the bed designed by Susan Blankenship(house is in Segreto Vignettes!) but with my lower ceilings and small room, I decided it wouldn't ...
