Spring Limelight Edition

Feb 27, 2017

I am so blessed to work for so many talented designers that Segreto’s work is featured in so many magazines! I wanted to share five recent publications with you all!

I am always on pins and needles to receive my issue of  Antique Shops & Designers magazine! Posting stories from around the world, I am super honored to be a contributing editor and share my thoughts with all of their readers!!

Spring Limelight Edition

Typically their cover is a bit more old world, posting rooms that are from century old European homes.  This issue’s cover features a home located  on one of the Cyclades islands in Greece called Paros. This sleek all white modern look with selective pops of color compliments the island’s beautiful beaches and hillside landscape.

The white is so chic! Look at the silver leaf detail above the couch! I will have to try that!!!

And here is my article…  I hope you enjoy and you can read( I made the print as large as possible!!!) If not, the photographs are pretty and from the newly released Segreto Vignettes!

I don’t know if you have read Southern home!  If not you should subscribe or look up.  The homes are unique, warm and I seem to want to take something into my own home with every page!  Below is a featured home by designer Ashley Goforth, in which we did a cherry blossom mural in a girls room.  The whole house is whimsical, fun and so full of Ashley’s style that I had to share it all!!

I was also honored that they listed Segreto Vignettes in their Holiday edition as their top picks for the perfect gift! Thanks Southern Home!!

I was featured in Luxe magazine I think the first year they came to Houston.  Gosh that picture was taken when my workshop was in my garage! They have definitely aged much more gracefully than me. I am so impressed with the quality of their projects they feature and all that they have to offer the reader!

Sooo, I was super humbled that they asked me to comment with a group of experts on trends.

..on their Eye Of Design Issue 2017!

I was surprised when reading the magazine-as I always do, it’s awesome– that I had several other projects I worked on published as well!!!

This home I worked on with Architectural Consultant Sarah West and builder Parker House Inc. was so fun!  Apart from being one of the nicest people I know, Sarah is a master at building in reclaimed elements or constructing new ones for us to make look old.  In this kitchen we plastered all surfaces and made the back cabinet doors feel reclaimed balancing the truly antique cabinet made into an island!

The top picture was from a home featured in Segreto Style designed by Suzanne Duin and built by Jim Bob with Doyle Construction.  If you have the book it is on page 150-155.

I also am so appreciative of all those wonderful Bloggers out there who have featured Segreto Vignettes. Please check them all out they all are great reads!!

I was so excited to do a follow up interview with AMARA after they awarded Segreto Secrets Best USA Interior Blog! It was truly such an honor!
