The Evolution of a Mural!

Hi Friends! I hope that you are having a wonderful week!  I have had so much fun seeing this mural evolve daily I thought you might enjoy as well!! The art of the mural is still going strong in today's interiors!!  Something incredible about murals is that unlike a canvas painting which may take months to complete, these art pieces many times have to be mastered in a week! Day 1: This mural is in  a wine room for a project we are working on with Designer Trisha McGaw and Allan Edwards ...

Two Projects With Dodson Interiors-Always Super Cool!

Hi Friends!! This week has been a super great one for me! I want to share a an amazing new home I have been working on and an article which featured some of our work--both with the talented designer Julie Dodson of Dodson Interiors. Artist Spotlight-Claire Basler!

Hi Friends!  I wanted to introduce someone with you whose work I am truly obsessed with.  Her name is Claire Basler. I have quotes from her scattered throughout this post on what I would say is truly magical art. She, like me, ...

In this kitchen we finished for designer Sarah Eilers, the range  was built from wood, and finished to read like real metal. I love the two toned ...

A Remarkable Home!!!

This new construction, built by Goodchild Builders and designed by Rudy Colby, has turned into one of my favorites we completed last year. Designer Nicole Zarr's addition of pops of color and contemporary elements truly makes this Tuscan style home unique!!! The entire home was plastered in warm tones and then the entrance and gallery waxed to set those areas apart! Here you can really see the plaster and what a difference it makes on the upstairs landing! To the right of ...
