What Has Segreto Been Up To?

Hi Friends!  I hope you have all had a wonderful week! I wanted to share with you a few transformations we have been working on. I need to get better on the before we start pictures! But... here are some durings and afters! Metal range-hoods are all the range but can be super pricey and have a long lead time to manufacture. In this kitchen we finished for designer Sarah Eilers, the range  was built from wood, and finished to read like real metal. I love the two toned ...

What Segreto’s Been Up to!

We have been busy with so many fun projects that I thought it was time to share! I have had so much fun seeing some of the homes we have worked on, furnished!! This is a stately, established home where the bones are amazing and the homeowners just wanted an update. The original moldings and floors remained but the walls were coated with plaster in a soothing warm tone. Before, the moldings were white, but toning them to the plaster put focus on the architecture and floors and really ...

Segreto Vignettes! My Advanced Copy Has Arrived!!!

I had a surprise package today!!! An advanced copy of Segreto Vignettes came to the office! My staff wanted me to open the box in front of them, so when I walked into the office I had a rush of people coming my way with their big surprise!! Yes, I had approved things along the way but never had seen the book all together and bound! The printer would send me a bound book with no writing to approve the binding and the paper. Imagine all the color combos that could be created! This home was a sentimental one for ...

Pattern, Pattern, Pattern!

This amazing girl's suite, designed by Julie Dodson, mixes a contemporary stainless steel and glass staircase with beams that feel reclaimed for loft-style living. Rather than using a carpet runner, they brought us in to apply a stencil design to the stairs and....... Paint ...

What’s Cook’n at Segreto II

Spring has officially sprung in Texas and we have been keeping busy! With so many fun projects wrapping up, I wanted to share a few of my favorites with you! In this hollywood bathroom, designer Talbot Cooley asked us to bring some interest to the stained concrete floors. Adding tile would make the floor higher than the bedrooms it connects to so we applied a stencil using Sherwin Williams Gray Matters in a fun geometric instead! When painting on concrete you can use a floor or porch ...
