The Company

What sets us apart? We treat each home as we would our own, each client as we would want to be treated and each employee with respect. Our carefully selected staff is made up of people who we would leave with our own children, pets, and cherished possessions. Our goal is to be better tomorrow than we were today.

We carry a 2 million dollar liability policy, workman’s compensation on our staff and full benefits for all of our employees. Not only does this protect you, the client, but it also instills longevity, loyalty and job satisfaction for our employees. From the design services we offer, to the care in prep, protecting all existing services before we start; to our ability to repair the work if damaged; our mission is to exceed our clients expectations with the ultimate in finishes and unmatched customer service.

With a staff of over 40 artisans, the company has become a premier finish design firm with work featured in numerous publications including Architectural Digest, Veranda, Traditional Home, House Beautiful, Country French, Elegant Homes, Beautiful Homes and Beautiful Baths, to name a few. Our experienced designers are grateful for the opportunity to meet with you, consider your project’s architecture, interiors, surfaces and personal lifestyle to develop an individualized plan which will lend your surroundings a whole new perspective.

The Founder

Graduating from the University of Texas with a business degree, Leslie, mother of three, left her corporate job in 1995 to start Segreto Finishes, naming the company after her husband’s family. Segreto, which means secret in Italian, rolls up all of Leslie’s passions — architecture, interior design, art, people and business– into her idea of the perfect job. Leslie’s talent for color, bringing innovative products to the market place, hiring and training a quality staff and working with people on their individual needs, built Segreto’s reputation.

Inspired by all aspects of artistic painting, she writes the awarded blog, Segreto Secrets, about interiors, art and finishes. She has written three coffee table design books, Segreto: The Secrets to Finishing Beautiful Interiors, Segreto Style and Segreto Vignettes.

The Team

Our design and operations staff combined with our field team of over 40 Artisans are passionate about honing their craft. With years of experience and a multitude of combined talents, we are constantly conceiving new products and striving to be better today than we were yesterday.
