Hi Friends!!  I hope you are all not overwhelmed with the holidays approaching. Today, I wanted to spread some beauty and share some hand-painted walls  with you. I love the look of these and cannot seem to get enough. Each room so unique and one of a kind, these walls infuse timeless elegance into homes and therefore, I feel, into our lives.

Working with Marie Flanigan-she is as pretty as the rooms she designs-we were consulted to fulfill her vision of this lovely dining room. Wanting floral panels inset into molding, we were given fabrics and inspiration photos for color and style! Here is a final shot of the room, but how did it start?

Here is the room a couple of hours after we began.  If you look to the right panel you can see a sketch done in charcoal of our artist’s work.

It is so fun watching the murals come to life. You can see how the chandelier is popping now!

It was so exciting when the drapery were being hung!!

The room really came together beautifully and we were all thrilled with the outcome.  One of the first things you see when you enter the home, it really sets the tone of  what’s to come!! They are so peaceful when well done and I love the fact that with painting vs paper you can pick any color, flower or style!

Something few know is that hand-painting is much more affordable than many of the papers available today!! How great is that?!- one of a kind for less!  I can’t wait to share with you a DIY pumpkin and succulent project next week.  Super easy, and they make the most wonderful fall decor!!  Till then!  xo Leslie.
